For the Faint of Heart is very versatile. It can be read in any order; only those chapter questions of interest can be read; or the entire work can be finished in two hours. For those not adept at using the Bible, this book conveniently takes the reader to passages already printed for them.
The book is concise and easy to read. The average chapter length is 5 pages, brief enough to be read aloud and discussed in a 45-minute time frame.
Each of the fourteen chapters concludes with four questions for reflection or discussion. The appendix cites 44 passages assuring God's children of His deep love for them and the bibliography lists some of the best books ever written on the subject of suffering.
